Even today, glass is still based on the same three main ingredients as 4000 years ago when it originated: sand, soda and dolomite. This centuries-old product is indispensable in our construction process and has undergone major changes over time. Thanks to the application of modern techniques, glass has developed from a relatively vulnerable product into a strong and structural solution.

Scheuten Float

Scheuten Float forms the basis for all our glass products. It has all the benefits of glass without compromising on experience. Scheuten Float offers resistance to all kinds of weather conditions, while providing an open and unobstructed view. In addition, Scheuten Float is acid and alkali resistant, it does not absorb odours and the glass is colourfast. Float has a natural light green undertone and is also 100% recyclable.

Scheuten Low Iron

Scheuten Low Iron is just as strong as Scheuten Float. However, this brilliant product offers one striking difference: its super-transparent glass is colour-neutral. The familiar natural green appearance gives way to an extra bright base, so that background colours and brightness are hardly affected. Scheuten Low Iron is often used in architectural projects and special applications. Thanks to the high degree of transparency, it easily transmits light (90-91%) and energy.
